Description & Objectives

Pre-Licensure (Master’s Entry) Clinical Nurse Leader Program:
A program that provides a second career option for those with degrees in other fields who wish to pursue a career in nursing.  As one of the tracks of the Clinical Nurse Leader Program, pre-licensure prepares its students to become nurses and clinical leaders, instilling within them the skills and competencies needed to thrive in the health care system.  This special program both prepares students to complete the NCLEX and to go on to graduate with an M.S.N.

16 months
Admission Requirements: 

Baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited school in any non-nursing major with an overall minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0; GRE score of 900 or MAT score of 400; Submission of official transcripts; Completed application with curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, and a personal essay; TOEFL score of 550 for international students; Personal Interview; Prerequisite coursework: 1) Anatomy and Physiology (8 credits)~ completed within the last 10 yrs. 2) Microbiology (3 credits)~ completed within 10 yrs. 3) Biochemistry (3 credits) OR Other Chemistry (6 credits) 4) Statistics (3 credits) 5) General Psychology (3 credits) 6) Human Growth and Development (3 credits).

Tuition Requirements: 

In-State: $2,775 per semester;
Out-of-State: $10,086 per semester
